Nevis – 2018 VW Campervan with 5 Seatbelts, Roof Tent & Full Camping Setup

Treat the van like your own and you'll have no bother. A few simple rules:

Driving — Only named, insured drivers behind the wheel. Full licence required (standard category B is fine). UK roads only unless agreed in writing. Take it easy on single-tracks and passing places.

No smoking or vaping inside, ever — a deep-clean charge applies if we find evidence.

Dogs welcome if booked in advance. Keep them off beds and seats (bring a blanket), clean up after them; excess fur/mud may incur a fee.

Gas & heating — Ventilate when cooking; never run the hob while sleeping; turn gas off at the bottle after use. Heating's fine overnight — keep a window cracked. No candles, open flames or BBQs inside or against the van.

Capacity — Only the number on your booking sleeps and travels. Everyone belted in.

Toilet & waste — No fixed toilet/shower. Empty any portable loo at proper disposal points only. Take all rubbish with you — leave no trace.

Overnight parking — Park legally and considerately. Respect signs, private land and residents. Follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code; don't block gates or passing places; keep night-time noise down.

Fuel & mileage — Returns full (diesel — don't misfuel). Stick to your mileage allowance; extra miles charged at the agreed rate.

Cleanliness — Bring it back tidy, bedding folded, rubbish gone. Excessive mess, sand or mud may carry a cleaning charge.

Damage & breakdowns — Tell us straight away if something goes wrong; honesty beats a surprise on return. Don't attempt roadside repairs — call the breakdown number in your pack. Driver covers fines, tolls and the insurance excess on at-fault claims.

Late returns — Let us know ASAP; late returns affect the next guests and may be charged.
