DRIVER ELIGIBILITY

The Hirer and any additional drivers must:

Be aged between 23 and 75 years old unless agreed otherwise.

Hold a full valid UK driving licence for a minimum of 2 years.

Have no more than 6 penalty points.

Not have any serious motoring convictions or driving bans within the last 5 years.

Provide proof of identity and address before collection.

Additional drivers must be approved by OTRCC and named on the insurance policy.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

The deposit may be used to cover:

Insurance excess

Damage not covered by insurance

Late return charges

Missing equipment

Additional cleaning costs

Fuel shortages

Parking fines, speeding fines, toll charges or congestion charges

The deposit will normally be returned within 14 days of the vehicle being inspected.

INSURANCE

The vehicle is insured for the named driver(s) only.

The Hirer agrees:

Not to allow any unauthorised person to drive the vehicle.

To immediately report any accident, damage or theft.

To complete all accident documentation requested.

Not to admit liability on behalf of OTRCC.

The Hirer remains responsible for any insurance excess.

VEHICLE USE

The vehicle must NOT be used:

For racing, competitions or track days.

For carrying passengers for hire or reward.

For towing unless authorized.

By anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Outside the agreed geographical area without permission.

For any illegal activity.

The Hirer agrees to take reasonable care of the vehicle at all times.

VEHICLE TRACKING, DRIVER BEHAVIOUR & TERMINATION

All vehicles are fitted with GPS tracking and telematics systems for security, insurance and vehicle management purposes.
