Silverstar – 4p Volkswagen camper van from 2011

Welcome! We are glad that you are interested in renting our camper van Silverstar, a Volkswagen, Transporter T5 equipped with the right environmental stickers, so that you can also easily enter the cities. A reliable self-built camper that has been in our possession for three years now. Our adult children have made full use of it this summer and after Lowlands Silverstar will be at the door again.
Our simple practical camper is suitable for 2 adults and possibly 2 young children. There are 4 seats with belts. The back seat is a so-called 1.5 seater, so it is best to use the bus with two people. There is a household battery and a 38 liter refrigerator so you can camp off grid for a day or 2, 3. There is also a 12V connection to charge your phone and the USB lighting.
Silverstar does not have an indoor kitchen, but a pull-out kitchen unit at the rear. So you can cook outside under the roof of the tailgate. The pull-out kitchen (fridge, gas burners, sink) offers enough space to store your food. There is an Omnia camping oven. If the weather is bad, there is a tent canopy. If you want to make a quick coffee or eat a sandwich on the way, there is also the possibility to eat in the living area with a fold-out door as a table. If you are standing for a while, you can attach a table inside and create a seat by turning the driver's seat and the passenger seat. I have regularly worked with my laptop at the table in the bus for work.
If you want to bring a porta-potti, that is possible in consultation. We have one. It does come at the expense of your living space, but you can also put the porta-potti outside or under the tent canvas of the tailgate. You will not find a shower in this type of camper van, but as an adventurer you can of course also "shower" off grid with the available water bag. After a few days it is useful to drive a bit to charge the battery and fill up with clean water.
There is ample storage space for clothing under the passenger seat. As soon as you arrive and raise the pop-up roof, you can put any extra items such as coats or a weekend bag "above".
Extras.
Silverstar is equipped with a retractable awning and a bicycle carrier for 2 bicycles, which can be attached to the tow bar. The bus is equipped with tinted glass at the rear, but for extra darkening you will find a suction cup system for the inside of the windows. This keeps it nice and dark and cool. We have two mattress toppers available for extra comfort. Sheets are included.
🚐 Silverstar is a self-built camper that drives great, is technically in top condition and is maintained by the Volkswagen dealer. The bus is equipped with winter tires from October/November.
