Hi!
My name is Maartje. A little about me: I'm 27 years old, once a master's student (public administration and data science), now an NGO project manager, and I have a fantastic campervan!
In 2017, I moved to Vancouver for five months. There, I discovered my love for adventure, the city, nature, and vanlife. When I returned, my goal was to convert my own van into a campervan! In 2021, this became a reality. After a lot of searching, I found my perfect van. I worked on it almost every day that summer, with some help here and there from family and friends. After the summer, I went back to studying. This meant I could (unfortunately) only get away for a few weekends here and there. I did, however, take a beautiful trip through northern France.
My biggest dream of going to Norway came true in the summer of 2022! Three weeks with my family dog, Roef, and my campervan, Ollie, to southern Norway. What an adventure it was, it was amazing! Stopping at the most beautiful locations, enjoying a delicious cup of tea in the morning, and then going for a good walk or enjoying a (very) small town. I had no trouble whatsoever with my van (and the steep mountains) or finding a parking spot. That's exactly why I bought it.
My next dream destination is Slovenia. What's yours? I hope Ollie can take you there and then, of course, enjoy it to the fullest.
 Some more practical information.
 - The van is relatively quiet and pleasant to drive (also because of the windows on the sides and back).
 - There's an airbag for both the driver and passenger. I really appreciated having one. Safety first.
The electrical system is very simple. It doesn't have solar panels, but the system charges efficiently while you're driving. The batteries are large lithium batteries, so they're enough for 4 to 5 days of rest. Of course, you can also charge it at a campsite if you want to stay in one place for longer.
 - The kitchenette has everything you need: 2-burner gas stove, enough pans, crockery and cutlery.
The garage is stocked with everything you need to make your campervan trip complete. A camping chair and stools, a table, a solar shower, and a clothesline. And plenty of room for your own belongings.
