Tao the Van was build from a dream to feel more connected to nature.
Covid hit and I wanted to escape. Travel options were limited and I saw people converting vans online - I was immediately sold!
Whether travelling solo or taking a romantic trip together - this van contains all you need in luxury while keeping a minimalistic look and feel.
The looks in the van have a lot of love into them, it’s all hand made work by me. And now I would love for you to enjoy it too!

Specifications;
The van is a Mercedes Sprinter from 2016 with automatic gear.
Words I’ve used to describe it is “driving over clouds” with this van. The automatic gear, cruise control, airconditioning, and seat suspension make it great for long distance travel while remaining it’s unique character inside.
The bed is 160 by 180 in its normal state but can be lengthened simply using the seating platform (with 45 cm, making it 205 cm) It has a relatively spacious kitchen area with big, deep sink and comfortable propane gas cooking. The kitchen has plenty of storage too.
Your clothing and other lifestyle items can be put in the large drawers under the bed and storage space above the drivers.
There is also a big “garage” space under the bed for bigger items such as camping chairs and surf gear. You’ll also find a hot water shower there that runs on gas and is hot almost immediately!
The energy system is powered by solar panels and charged while driving, which has always proben to be sufficient. Must you need extra charge there is also a plug on the side to charge the batteries at a campsite. There are plenty of 12 volt USB ports (two) and 220 volt plugins available across the camper (2 in back, 2 in kitchen, two near bed/seating).
All of this together makes it an off-grid camper, meaning you don't need to stay in campsites all the time so you can save money on that.
Will you take Tao the Van on its next adventure? 😊
{the name is based on the Taoist philosophy, which invites us to go with the flow, recognise the harmony in contradiction and interdependence, and recognise the energy of nature underlies all material life}
