General information
This semi-integrated motorhome Benimar Bel air 496 built in 2024 is the ideal motorhome to travel with 4 to 5 people and is therefore extremely suitable for couples or families with children. The motorhome can be driven with a B driving license (max 3500 kg) and has 5 approved seats and sleeping places. At the rear there is a king-size bed, which is also straight (and not crosswise) to the direction of travel, so that you have plenty of space to get in and out of your bed, on both sides. You also have space to change, so that you do not have to do this in your kitchen or toilet. Above the seating area there is an electric double lifting bed with the necessary safety edge so that children can sleep safely here. The seating area can also be converted into an extra bed.
The length of the motorhome is 7.45 meters (+ the bicycle carrier for 2 bicycles when it is folded down), the width is 2.35m and the height is 2.95m.
Gas is used for cooking and heating water. The heating is on Diesel, and the refrigerator can run on gas, electricity or battery (solar panel). You can relax under the large awning and in comfortable camping chairs that can also be transformed into a lounger. You can eat or play a board game at the large folding table with benches.
Furthermore, our mobile home is equipped with all accessories so that you only need to bring clothes, bed linen and pillows, toiletries and food and you can immediately leave for your holiday.
So also a first aid kit, everything to cook, eat and drink, cleaning products and toilet products, are all ready in the mobile home. We like a tidy mobile home so everything is provided to keep it clean. That is why no pets are allowed and it is forbidden to smoke in the mobile home.

1. Equipment
• Weight
Our motorhome weighs 3120 kg (with bike rack, filled diesel and 20L of water)
This is without people, but with all the equipment we give you on your trip (kitchen utensils, bike rack, awning, and all the material in the garage). Also included in this weight is 20L in the clean water tank, a full diesel tank, and an approximately full gas bottle.
That leaves about 380 kg for people, their clothes, food/drinks and possibly bicycles.
• Beds
There is a double bed with slatted base in the back of the motorhome (150x195 cm). We call this the princess bed, it faces the direction of travel and is located in a spacious room, where you can get in and out of the bed on both sides. You can separate this space from the living area with a door. There is also 1 electric double lifting bed with slatted base in the living area (140x 190 cm). You can also convert the seat (by lowering the table) into an additional single bed. We provide mattress protectors on the 2 double beds.
• Sanitary, cupboards and ventilation
There is a separate shower and toilet, with small cabinets for storing your toiletry bag and small items. There are also, in the back room, wardrobes on the left, right and above the bed. There are also 2 large storage compartments under the back of the bed. We provide special toilet paper (light and easily biodegradable) for you, but also spare products for the chemical toilet and the clean water tank.
• Garage
There is a very spacious garage under the rear bed, which you can reach from the outside on 2 sides. This is also where the axle supports are located (you can place them under the chassis to make the motorhome perfectly stable). Also the Thule wheel supports (to put under the tires to put the motorhome horizontally when the terrain is not flat or slopes). The grip mats can help you get out of a boggy surface. You will also find a 220V extension cord and a 20m CCE electricity cable there. Other large material that you would need, such as a water hose for filling the water tank, a jerry can with pouring spout and connectors can also be found there. For comfort and eating, there is a foldable table (100x60cm) with 2 benches that can each carry up to 200kg. There are also extra seats or relax chairs: 2 foldable fisherman chairs that you can put at the table, but can also convert into a lounge/sun chair. There is a maintenance-free AGM battery for extra long life
• On, at and around the motor home
The motorhome has a bike rack for 2 (electric) bikes. The maximum load capacity is 60kg. For shade and comfort there is a large sun canopy, and to keep it clean inside, you can put a large ground cloth in front of the motorhome, and a rubber mat. There is economical LED lighting both inside and outside, which always works, even without electricity. On the motorhome you will find a 160W solar panel.
• Living area
There are USB connections in the living area (and also in the sleeping area (for charging a phone, tablet, etc.). There are a few extra sockets in the living area. For safety, there is central locking, also on the entrance door to the living area. This also has a window, two-point lock and a waste bin. These, but also all windows, are equipped with mosquito screens, and these can all be darkened. All windows are double glazed, and there is a turbo roof fan in the living area that can both extract and supply air so that the desired cooling can be obtained. You can always turn on the heating, it is on diesel.
• Kitchen
There are plates, cutlery, glasses (wine and water glasses), pots, pans and other kitchen utensils in the kitchen cupboards. Dishwashing liquid, sponges, cleaning product, brush, dustpan and brush, kitchen linen, bucket, cleaning cloths are also there.
For cooking there is a 2 burner gas stove. In addition there is of course also a sink and large automatic refrigerator with freezer compartment.
When connected to the electricity, you can enjoy the Dolce Gusto coffee maker, including a few pads to get you started. And for on the go, there is a 12V mini coffee maker (in the lighter) for one cup of coffee (at a time), incl. ground coffee.
Above the seating area you will find another box with some items that may be useful and that you may use: a washing line with clothes pegs, duck tape, some converter plugs (USB->socket and vice versa), ...
There is also, for your safety, a gas alarm in the motorhome. Be sure to plug it in when the gas is on.
• Driver's cabin
It is a Diesel, Euro 6 standard, and the driver's cabin is also well equipped. Electrically adjustable and heated mirrors, cruise control, speed limiter, reversing camera, radio with Bluetooth, air conditioning in the cabin, airbag for both driver and passenger and rotating seats in the cabin.

4. Pick up and return
The motorhome must be picked up and returned in Dilbeek. We will give you a detailed explanation of how to use the motorhome. In the motorhome there is also a manual available with the necessary instructions and some tips, an inventory list and our details.
Leaving the car nearby is possible and at your own risk.
