I bought my campervan as a gift to myself and my kids after a difficult time. The freedom of the road was just what was needed and we have spent many a happy time hanging out in fields with our dogs, sometimes exploring the area but often just staying put with the kids having the run of the campsite and pocket money for the shop. Simple pleasures; building a fire, wittling wood, toasting marshmallows, cooking breakfast on the fire, campfire chats, painting our nails, yoga, kayaking, the slow life... Favourite site near London is Hurley Riverside Park and furthest is a stunning riverside site on the Loire, France. Nothing beats life in a camper!
