I live with my partner in Amersfoort, am sporty (padel and yoga). I have two adult children who live in Utrecht and Amsterdam. I retired in October 2024; before that I worked as a bilingual education trainer at the University of Utrecht and later as a self-employed person. I travel a lot, followed a yoga teacher training in Spain in February 2025 and made a pilgrimage (the via di San Francesco) in May and June 2025, where I walked from Florence to Rome (550km).

I love my camper very much. I bought, designed and rebuilt “her” (Ruth) with the help of a camper builder in 2016. She is named after my aunt Ruth who left me an inheritance: without her my camper would not exist. We have traveled a lot in the camper, for example to France, Italy, Slovenia, Norway and Scotland. We like to go to the mountains.
