We had a fantastic 17 nights in Swampy. The handover from Jayne and Neil was excellent, very informative and added to the great videos that helped us prepare. This was our first trip in a campervan, and we have now caught the bug. Swampy is a real head turner with its go anywhere demeanour. Very well equipped very comfortable overnight and a dream to drive. We covered most of the coast of Scotland from the Solway Firth, the NC500 (clockwise) and completing our trip in Peebles near Edinburgh. We can’t recommend this highly enough, thanks to Jayne and Neil - total van experts. September 2025

The handover with Neil and Jayne went great. We headed up through lake district to Gretna green, Loch lomond, Oban and then Edinburgh. Swampy was great and it gets lots of attention from others on the road and campsites! August 2025

This was our first time hiring a campervan and pleased we chose Jayne and Swampy (the VW). From the booking to collection and return the experience was easy. I had watched all the You tube videos prior to collection, which was a great touch as I already knew my way around the van and what it had to offer. I am a solo female camper and had reservations about being able to handle a campervan and equipment on my own. However, I needn’t have worried. Neil’s helpful YouTube videos and demonstrations, sent out before collection, made it very easy. Neil and Jayne were very reassuring and went out of their way to make the handover as smooth as possible. I was able to do everything independently, including putting up the pop top roof and the awning. Swampy is a dream to drive and was equipped with everything I needed for my festival trip. The 4-wheeled drive meant I had no problem getting out of the muddy field. Neil and Jayne provided everything down to kitchen roll and washing-up-liquid. If you are looking for a campervan for a festival or holiday, I would definitely recommend Neil and Jayne’s van! July 2025

Neil & Jayne were absolutely lovely & we couldn't have wished for a better hire experience! Neil took time to talk us through the van when we came to collect it & even helped us out with a phone charger & holder! The youtube videos are super helpful & just make everything so much easier. Jayne & Neil have thought of absolutely everything for Swampy...wireless chargers, a mirror, bluetooth speaker, little reading lights (special shout out to Neil's fave the RidgeMonkey! 😂). Swampy drove faultlessly all the way to Northumberland & back, around twisty bits & motorways with zero drama & was incredibly comfortable & an absolute delight. A fabulous van with all the amenities needed to have a fantastic trip away on wheels. Neil and Jayne were a pleasure to deal with and they had thought of every little detail, when it came to the van itself and all the kit provided (with YouTube video instructions, which were a great help) The van also had two isofix for our little ones, which we needed to enjoy a family get away. Goboony Neil and Jayne were the best hosts we could’ve wished for on our first camper van trip. And Swampy was an absolute dream of a camper to hire. Neil had fully detailed him so it was honestly as good as a brand new camper. He took the time to run through all of the essentials and shared our excitement for our trip. Swampy has an automatic gearbox and cruise control making driving that extra bit easier on a long day. We loved the layout and lighting was great on the dark and wet evenings in the lakes. He came with every bit of kit you could need, including chairs and awning. The off road tyres are a real standout but also helped with confidence on grass verges and the camping pitch. Would highly recommend to anyone new or well versed this is the camper to hire! We can’t Thank-you enough and hope to see you soon! April 2025
