Together with the children, we came up with the name Gijs when purchasing it.
Traveling with Gijs, blue Gijs, one syllable and it refers easier than 'the camper'..
It is an old truck from 1982 that we, after purchasing in 2015, slowly renovated for the most part so that at least five people could travel in it and live from it.
Its age means that some mechanical/manual work still needs to be done, including a pull starter and checking the oil after two refuelling sessions.
It's not a fast boy; 90-95 km/h cruising speed, so long distances will take you a long time. But it's a tough diesel that will take you anywhere.
Fixed bunk bed at the back. Convertible four-seater in the middle to double bed. And for two children or one adult a bed in the alcove.
Furthermore, we hope that the images speak for themselves. By the way, Gijs still has a gray coat in some photos, but that was replaced by an aqua-zul blue one in June 21.
