Nice van! So good for a Highland's trip! Very cozy home for some days! I will repeat 100% September 2025

French : J'ai loué le van pour 12 jours pour faire le tour de l'écosse. Kevin et Chris ont été très réactifs et arrangeant pour que je récupère et rende le van, c'était vraiment très gentil ! Le van est assez gros, la première et deuxième vitesse sont un peu dures à passer et l'accélération est un peu compliqué parfois car le van est lourd mais il reste maniable et bien équipé avec une caméra de recul en plus ! hyper pratique ! A l'intérieur, il est plutot ergonomique même si un miroir, de quoi laver l'intérieur et une meilleure fixation des placards pourraient le rendre encore mieux ! Les points négatifs étaient que la douche ne fonctionne pas pour l'eau chaude et c'est plus compliqué de l'utiliser car on en met partout. Un gant et de l'eau est préférable et vous trouverez quelques douches publiques. Egalement l'approvisionnement en eau est compliqué, il n'était pas rempli quand je l'ai eu et j'ai du remplir tous les 3 jours le bidon, il faut y penser niveau logistique. Globalement je recommande le van, notamment si vous êtes 2 et que vous avez des vélos avec vous, le coffre est immense. Environ 110 euros un plein d'essence à 80% Un grand merci à Chris et Kevin ! English : I rented the van for 12 days to tour around Scotland. Kevin and Chris were very responsive and accommodating with the pick-up and drop-off, which was really kind of them! The van is quite big — first and second gear are a bit hard to shift into, and acceleration can be a bit tricky sometimes because it’s heavy, but overall it’s still easy to handle and well-equipped, with a rearview camera too — super practical! Inside, it’s fairly ergonomic, though a mirror, some cleaning supplies for the interior, and better cupboard latches would make it even better. The downsides were that the shower doesn’t work with hot water, and it's tricky to use without splashing water everywhere. A washcloth and some water are actually preferable, and you’ll find a few public showers along the way. Also, refilling the water tank is a bit of a hassle — it wasn’t filled when I picked up the van, and I had to refill the jerrycan every three days, so it’s something to plan for logistically. Overall, I recommend the van, especially if you're two people and have bikes with you — the trunk space is huge! Chris was amazing to work with. Very understanding and helpful. Gave us great tips for our trip. Maisie was a lovely van. Easy to navigate and drive. The GPS system was a little finicky when we hit larger bumps in the road but it was easy to work with. Set up and take down was a breeze which helped with our tight timeline in the mornings. We travelled from Glasgow, to the East coast to St. Andrew’s, inland to Pitlochry, Aberdeen, Inverness, on the North coast to Smoo Cave and back to Glasgow along the West coast through the Isle of Skye. Maisie had great gas mileage, easy to maneuver through Scotlands curvier roads and smaller (than we were used to) parking spaces. Overall, we could not have asked for a better vehicle for our trip. Renting a van is the way to see the beauty of Scotland. Maisie is a good one for that! Totally self-sufficient. The dark pop top allows for a good sleep even without the windshield cover. Chris was so helpful and responsive. Recommend! April 2025

Chris was very flexible, he picked us up from the train station and said we could drop it back at the station. The van was great and did everything we needed it to, in heavy rain the pop top leaked but that was the only issue. September 2024

Friendly, accommodating, no hassle rental. Minor issues dealt with generously. Van was very comfortable, hot shower a big bonus! Lots of space in the back for gear. Recommended. September 2024

The van had lots of things not working such as the hot water shower inside as paid, the heating, the tap,... Also the toilet also was not clean at all when Chris gave us the van. He was willing to help but none of the issues was solved at all. August 2024

Excellent weekend away, chris done a walk round and showed how everything worked, made sure I was happy before I left with the van. Chris allowed me to pick up early and dropp of late. Milage wasn't a issue either. The van itself was excellent good to drive and a good size for the single-track roads in the Highlands. We headed to achmelvich beach for a meet up with a group of friends. Three of us stayed in the van my daughter in the roof and myself and wife in the pull out bed. All three managed three nights of good sleep. I would highly recommend chris and his van, excellent communication and nothing was an issue for him. August 2024

We had a really enjoyable trip to the Isle of Skye in Chris' campervan. The van was well stocked with most of the necessities and was clean. The fridge, stove, and sink all worked well and the van had ample storage. The ride was comfortable, as was the pop-up sleeping area. Chris was helpful in explaining all the features of the van and left useful reading material that helped while travelling around Scotland. Pick up and drop off were easy. Highly recommend! July 2024

Had an absolutely fantastic four night hire with my wife and dog. Camper is a great size with the poptop and the automatic box was a rare find and made driving around the tight roads of the Lakes very easy. Chris is very friendly and easy to contact. He was good enough to give us an early pick up time and late drop off which was hugely appreciated and an unexpected surprise. July 2024

Chris was excellent to deal with from start to finish. Big Minty was spacious, functional and user friendly for our trip following the West Highland Way. 10/10 would recommend. June 2024

Pleasant experience overall. Chris is a super friendly guy. He was very thorough in explaining in the ins and outs of the van during the handover which was important because it was our first campervan trip. He also helped provided some extra beddings, pillows etc because we were travelling and didn't have any. We did have some issues with the van during our 2 week trip. But I believe it's just our bad luck that those issues cropped up during our trip because Chris seems like the type of guy who will keep his van well maintained. Thankfully none of the issues warranted our trip to be cut short! Chris is also constantly thinking of ways to improve his van so I believe it'll be even better for future renters.
