I would highly recommend James and his vans. The van is in superb condition and was perfect for a three night off-grid stay at Knockhill for the British Superbikes. Well equipped, well turned-out and the van made it a warm, cosy and pleasureable stay in spite of the wet weather. James was really helpful and even messaged to make sure that I was happy with how everything was working. June 2024

We rented James's van for 3 nights for a trip to Dumfries and Galloway. The whole process was really smooth with James answering any questions I had quickly. The van is located just off the M6 at Penrith so it is really easy to pick up without wasting time with detours! Handover was quick and smooth and we absolutely loved the van. It had everything we needed and even as a family of four and two dogs, we managed to find a place for everything including our big shop from the supermarket! Handing back the van was just as simple and our deposit was returned that evening. Thanks to James for a very seamless first experience with GoBoony!!! This was our first experience of a motorhome holiday. We hired the Moho from James in Penrith as it was on our way from home in the Midlands up to Scotland where we were looking to complete most of the NC500 route. Leading up to the holiday I was in comms with James on a few occasions and he answered all of my questions and that was pretty reassuring. Handover was a smooth affair, the van (Wildax Citroen) was very clean and had everything we needed, James explained things really well and demonstrated everything we needed to know. Being a fellow motorcyclist we hit it off straight away and we departed happy in the knowledge that James was contactable if we needed him. This was just as well because it would transpire that we needed his assistance on a couple if occasions - NOT because of anything wrong with the van though! On the second day driving out of Dunfermiline on a twisty road we hit a major pot hole and lost ALL power from the engine. I managed to coast the van into a farm gate but the back end was sticking out in the road on a bend! James had the situation covered with breakdown assistsnce who turned up reasonably quickly but google had already saved the day! After a quick online search I found that the van had an inertia trip switch fitted that cuts all power in the event of a crash and after a re-set we were able to move. The breakdiwn truck turned up and did a check.over the front wheel and suspension and gave us the all clear. On the second occasion I managed to put the rear nearside wheel into a drainage ditch on the single track Glen Etive road whilst backing into a oassing place. Fortunately the guy I wss letting through was in a 4 wheel dtive Jeep and we got the van out no ptoblem but again James was on hand via the phone to advise us. The van was easy to drive and had all mod cons including heating which was useful on a couple of occasions. We had 7 nights on sites (and took advantage of yheir showers and facilities) and 2 nights off grid which were comfortable enough. All in the van was pretty economical and we did the whole trip of well over a thousand miles on £350 of diesel. We had a great holiday amidst the VERY spectacular scenery of Scotland! Oh and as a tip! Get an EE OR LYCAMOBILE SIM. SO IN CONCLUSION.....If youre looking to hire a reliable 4 berth motor home for a trip at a good price from a very friendly and helpful hirer then James is your go-to guy! May 2024

A truly wonderful experience from start to finish. Plenty of information given whilst booking, then on the run up to the date plenty of videos and communication to explain the process. The van was superb. All mod cons and very comfortable. Lovely to drive, we completed the NC500 plus more before handing it back. Would absolutely recommend. April 2024

This was my first experience using Goboony and Dean made the entire process very easy and enjoyable... For us this was a last minute booking, and this was no problem for Dean, his communication and flexibility was top notch and honetly couldn't ask for more from him... He was very helpful, and very flexible with pickup and drop off times which was very much appreciated, (although in busier times of the year this may be different). The Camper was 10/10, we had the 23 plate Fiat which was fantastic, very clean, it was fully off-grid, even in January there was plenty of power to charge devices, and we stayed warm through the night while up in Scotland. All in all, I would highly reccommend hiring from Dean, I would do it again, and Dean thanks for all the help and a trouble free experience. February 2024

Dean couldn’t have been more helpful, answering our queries in advance and upon van handover. Dean was also able to resolve (over the phone) an issue we had with the heating (operator error) on the first evening. Would use again, if we’ve not got our own van! November 2023

Firstly the booking process was very easy and James responded to all our queries very promptly. We were after a particular van to try as we are considering buying one new. Our issue was does all our current kit fit (nd we have a lot). The answer was yes ,the layout of the van worked extremely well allowing us to move from living to sleeping van with little fuss and always having access to seating, kitchen and loo. With good cooking facilities we would highly recommend this van and James. September 2023

Two weeks for two in the Outer Hebrides early summer for work and leisure. As a professional location photographer I have been a pragmatic owner of camper vans, six in total, for many years. Wanted something a little more comfortable for two adults plus my location scout (Flint the border collie). This van was excellent. Not too big. And excellent communications with Dean at all points in the procedures. Very positive experience. Would highly recommend and hope to be hiring again from Dean soon. David Lyons. July 2023
