- zero drugs policy, any hires in which there is suspected drug use will result in the decline of any future booking requests.
- any damage to the interior or exterior of the campervan will be deducted from deposit held
- any damage or staining, which cannot be removed by laundering, to bedding or towels will be deducted from the deposit held
- any breakage, damage or loss of cookware, crockery or cutlery will be deducted from the deposit held
- If hired, all waste in the portable toilet should be disposed appropriately and the toilet cleaned prior to drop off otherwise cleaning fees will be applied and deducted from the deposit held
- Optional hire of 2 x camping chairs £15, any damage deductible from deposit held
- Optional hire of Portable toilet £25, any damage deductible from the deposit held

Lovely camper, came fully equipped for our first weekend camper trip.
John and his wife were great at the handover and return, and very grateful for their flexibility when we requested a slightly late return.

Hector was a beautifully kept van. It ran smoothly and was fantastically clean and ready for us on arrival. We understand that John will put in a pop up bed in the roof, which would give more space and be very useful. We would definitely recommend Hector

John and his daughter were brilliant from the beginning. Easy, clear communication and swift responses. Hector is immaculate and we could tell it was well taken care of. The bed is extremely comfortable, the fridge keeps things super chilled and they provide all the essentials! In addition to this he handles like a dream on the twisty, narrow roads of the highlands. We are already looking forward to our next adventure in Hector! :)

Fantastic trip in Hector. Our first campervan experience and we can’t wait to do the next one. All the essentials are provided and we were treated to some Scottish treats in the van on our arrival. Very comfortable and easy to use bed, and all other amenities in the van worked perfectly. Van drives very well. A great experience overall.

De très bons moments passés avec le véhicule de John ! Très bien entretenu et propre comme s'il était neuf ! Son gabarit permet de rouler sur les routes les plus étroites d'Écosse. Lit confortable et équipement complet. Excellent accueil de John et sa famille ! Ils ont été très réactifs et de bon conseil lors de nos échanges. Je les remercie !

Hector is a great van to roam around, so well-kept it seems new. Perfectly functioning and equipped, comfortable bed, shades, everything at the right place. John and her daughter are very nice people, they gave us useful informations and we’ve had a great time travelling around Scotland. Wish we could rent Hector again for other trips!!
