Highland Hector – 2 berth Volkswagen campervan from 2014

Our beloved campervan Hector is ready for adventure, whether it be up North, to the outer Hebrides or Down South to The Valleys of Wales, you can be guaranteed to travel in comfort and style!

Hector has everything you need for wherever you shall wander. Whether on site and hooked up, or off grid under the stars, Hector promises a comfortable journey and cosy nights sleep!

When hiring Hector, you will find, in the van;

- 3 seats with 3 point seat belts in the air conditioned cab , inclusive of a captains seat
- 3 rear seats all with 3 point seat belts
- Single Hob burner
- Kettle, Tragia style cookware inclusive of a 2.5L pan and a frying pan, crockery, and cutlery.
- Tea/coffee/sugar, salt and pepper.
- Fire Extinguisher
- Carbon monoxide detector
- Sink
- Washing up liquid, surface wipes, scourer and dish towel
- Collapsible basin
- Fridge, with a small freezer compartment
- Rock and Roll Double bed
- Bedding, compromising of a mattress topper, fitted sheet, 2 single duvets (trust us fighting over a double in the van is not fun) and 2 pillows
- Propex LPG heater; tank will be full on collection.
- 10L water tank with additional 5L collapsible water carrier
- White and Blue LED Downlights , a reading light and spotlights
- USB points in the rear and a single 3 pin plug point
- 12v socket in the cab
- Camping mains extension lead for hooking up to campsite electric pitches
- Spare Tyre with required tools under the rear storage area
- Toilet Roll

With regards battery when driving Hector recharges the leisure battery allowing for off- grid camping; as noted above there is also a camping mains extension lead for those wishing to camp on site and hook up to an electric supply.

Offering collection/drop off points across East Lothian thanks to the North Berwick Train Line running from Central Edinburgh, Hector is the perfect choice for exploring everything Scotland has to offer, whether you plan to venture the East Coast 250, the Scottish Borders or venture up to the Bonnie Highlands and Isles.
