Driver & Use
Licensed drivers only (25+ years old, full license held 3 years).
Only named drivers may drive the vehicle.
No off-road driving unless explicitly permitted.
No racing, towing, or commercial use (e.g., delivery, ride-sharing).
Geographic limits may apply (country/state borders, islands, unsealed roads).

Occupancy & Safety
Seatbelts required for all passengers.
Maximum passenger limit must not be exceeded.
Children must use appropriate child seats if required by law.
No roof access.

Pets & Smoking
No smoking or vaping inside the vehicle.
Pets often prohibited, or allowed only with prior approval and extra cleaning fee.

Care of the Vehicle
Treat the van as your own:
No damage to interior or exterior.
Report any damage or mechanical issues immediately.
Use correct fuel only.
Warning lights must be reported, not ignored.

Cleaning & Hygiene
Keep the van reasonably clean.
Toilet use rules (if fitted): correct chemicals only, empty at approved sites.
No illegal dumping of waste or grey water.

When Bringing the Campervan Back (Return Conditions)
Fuel & Fluids:
Return with same fuel level as collection (usually full).
AdBlue / DEF topped up if used during rental (common in diesel vans).

Cleanliness:
Interior cleaned:
Dishes washed
Cooler emptied
Rubbish removed

Exterior condition: normal road dirt acceptable; excessive mud may incur a wash fee.
Toilet emptied and cleaned (if applicable).

Equipment & Inventory:
All provided items returned:
Keys
Cables, hoses
Camping gear, chairs, tables
Bedding (if included)
Missing or damaged items may be charged.

Damage & Wear:
Normal wear and tear is acceptable.
Any new damage must be declared on return.
Late damage discovery may still be charged after inspection.

Timing:
Return on time as agreed.
Late returns may incur:
Hourly or daily penalties
Loss of deposit in severe cases
