The engine is a 1.6 TDI which has been remapped to provide better pulling power and economy, it is super reliable and lovely to drive. 5 speed manual gearbox.

Other benefits of the van itself is that is has power steering with upgraded Golf GTi multi function steering wheel. upgraded genuine VW stereo headunit with DAB radio, satnav, Bluetooth, carplay/android auto etc, also with upgraded speakers. Heated front seats, cruise control, auto lights, electric windows, remote central locking, upgraded headlight bulbs and front fog lights for improved visibility during nighttime driving or poor weather. It also has cross climate all terrain tyres, these were selected to give better off road abilities if wild camping but whilst still being very quiet for road driving.

The camper is very comfortable both when driving and once set up for camping. The van isn't just a old abused van that has been converted cheaply to rent out, it is my own personal camper that I use, I owned the van for around 6 years before I converted it and so it has always been properly maintained and as its my own camper I have had the conversion carried out to a high spec.
