Florence is the perfect campervan for road-trips galore, whether you’re taking your furry friend for a trip around the UK, are hitting up a festival or heading off for a longer voyage into Europe. Florence is perfectly placed for adventures far and wide. Even if you’re staying local there’s plenty on offer on your doorstep from the North Downs to Sussex and beyond.

Florence is a campervan filled with character from her bright red crosses - (a throwback to her time as an aid van in Ukraine!), to the handy dining table, a fully equipped kitchen and even a toilet. All the modern conveniences with the freedom of life on the road. Cosy up in the huge double bed and sleep easy knowing another day filled with exploring awaits you.

Description of Beds: Florence has a 6ft bed custom made with a 10" deep memory foam mattress! Comfort has not been sacrificed! She can comfortably sleep 2 persons and there's room in the walkway to place a cot/child's bed if required.

Description of Seating: There are 3 belted seats in the front, 2 of which turn inside the van for a seating area.

Description of Electrical Setup: There's 2 3pin mains plugs and 2 USB slots inside the van. There's an electrical output on the outside of the van, so it can be plugged in at electric hook up sites. There's a solar panel on top so Florence can go off grid

Parking: There is free parking for the hirer where Florence is normally parked. This is outside the owner's house where the owner can keep an eye on your vehicle.

Cooking Equipment: In addition to two gas hobs there is also a gas oven. Florence has everything you could need to cook up a feast, with 2 mugs, 2 cups, 2 large plates, and 2 bowls. There's is more than enough cutlery and utensils, several chopping boards at well as a kettle, frying pan, and a small and large saucepan

Water and Sanitation: Florence has hot and cold water running to both the 'kitchen' sink and also the sink above the toilet. There is a fixed toilet inside the van in its own enclosure.

Audio Equipment: Florence has a factory fitted radio as well as an aux lead for Android and Apple, so you can play your own music. There is also a reversing camera with a USB slot to charge your phone. Florence doesn't have a satnav because after multiple trips, we found Google maps from our phones was way better! So there's a universal phone holder to use Google maps!

Type of Heating: Florence has a portable electric heater in the van to keep you warm at night! It plugs straight into the mains.

Pet Information: Florence loves dogs! We do not restrict the number of dogs, if you can fit them they can stay! A full inside clean would be required before drop off, but otherwise, your furry friends are welcome to enjoy!

Conversion Story: Florence has had a crazy journey! She was self converted 5 years ago and has mostly been used on trips back and forth to Ukraine delivering humanitarian aid. After travelling through some very dicey areas, she needed to have 2 red crosses painted on the side, for her own safety and that of her passengers, to avoid air strikes. She's been a true hero, hence Florence after the incredible Florence Nightingale.

Extra Information: You'll find a genuine grenade pin found in Ukraine on Florence's keyring, as a nod to her former life. Florence comes with a set of board games, a badminton set and a set of bowls as well as an inflatable kayak available for hire. Florence is cosy, she doesn't pretend to be anything she's not, she's here for adventures not the catwalk. You're guaranteed a great time in a van full of history and charm. She's certainly a talking point.
