Meet Inkling
Inkling lives in East Oxford and is a professionally converted, high-standard campervan. It seats 5 safely with 3-way seat belts: 2 front passengers and 2 adults or 3 children in the back (3 ISOFIX points).
Sleeping arrangements:
• 4ft/122cm rock-and-roll bed for two adults.
• Roof space (122 cm) for 2 children—or 2 adults at a squeeze—with netted openings for ventilation and bug protection.

We know you’ll be eager to get on the road and, at the end, get home again. To help, we’ll prepare as much as possible in advance, but please allow up to an hour for pick-up and return checks.
✅ Please read the policy terms and conditions carefully, including declaring any penalty points. Unfortunately, there’s no refund if insurance checks can’t be passed on the day.
🚫 No hen or stag parties. Festivals may be possible—just ask (alcohol-free only).
🥤 No food or drink in the roof space except water in lidded bottles/cups (to avoid spills, smells, and extra cleaning fees).
👶 Children are welcome! But under-6s in the roof space are at parents’ risk.
🔪 Take care in the kitchen—the knives really are super sharp.
✨ We’ll clean Inkling after each hire, but please return with:
a reasonably tidy interior (no rubbish, dirty dishes, etc.)
exterior dirt wiped off (water and cloth only—no car washes) this only needs to be good enough to see any dents dings or scratches, though Inkling does love returning clean :)
We can live with a little sand or grass, but excessive mess may incur a cleaning fee.

Our road trip with inkling was something special! We had a wonderful 10 day trip up to the north of wales and back, and she drove like a beauty! So easy and so smooth. Our evening were cosy and the food cooked well with the provided equipment in inkling. I would’ve chosen inkling over any hotel. We had no issues at all, and Lyn made us feel so comfortable, ready and set to use her. The handover was simple and clear. Lyn is such a lovely, sweet and thoughtful person! The whole experience was 10/10 and I highly recommend inkling for your next road trip. Lyn will make sure your ride goes smooth and safe and responds very quickly to messages if needed. Thank you for allowing us to use her💜
