Welcome home to our beloved self built camper van, Henry. We have spent the last 3.5 years transforming this Citroen relay ex-delivery van into a home on wheels. Blood, sweat and tears have gone into making this van a real home from home and the perfect vehicle to take on any adventure.
Featuring a full size fixed double bed with a comfortable Emma mattress. There is plenty of over head storage for clothes and other personal items. Under the bed is the garage area which houses the electrical system and also stores the camping chairs, table and levelling blocks. There is plenty of space to store walking boots and other bits and bobs in here too.
The kitchen area is equipped with cooking utensils, plates, bowls, pans and mugs for a nice cuppa. It has everything you need to cook your favourite meals including a kettle, compressor fridge, one ring induction hob and a Ninja 8-in-1 Air-fry oven. There is a 100L water tank on board and a full water filtration system. There’s also a small rechargeable hoover to keep the space clean and tidy.
With swivel captain chairs and table means you can sit and enjoy your home cooked meal in comfort wherever you choose to park up.
There is a diesel heater and heated blanket on the bed for the colder months or evenings. Also a thermal windscreen cover keeps you toasty warm at night and also allows privacy whilst parked up somewhere along with the black out curtains on the side windows. There is also a roll out awning and camping chairs and table for alfresco dining in the warmer months.
The solar panels on the roof and the dc to dc charger help to charge the leisure battery whilst you’re out and about. But if you do need to charge the battery you can easily connect to a hookup point on a campsite.
Henry is a great option for taking on your travels! Easy to drive, spacious inside yet still fits in a normal parking space at the supermarket. A practical van and fitted with all terrain tires, which offers peace of mind and confidence whilst on the road, especially in the good old British weather. So far he has travelled to the Scottish highlands 5 times where we completed the NC500, toured the Isle of Skye and the Cairngorms national park. Multiple trips to the Lake District, Northumberland, Snowdonia National Park, London, Devon and Cornwall. He has also been on a weekend trip to Belgium for the Christmas markets!
As Henry is a self converted camper-van, he does have some quirky features, but rest assured we will explain absolutely everything you need to know about him during the hand over and you will be on your way in no time!
