Please treat Monty with the utmost respect and take good care of him so that other campers can enjoy him too.
1. Please take outdoor shoes off when climbing up to the pop top bed.
2. A Portable Toilet, liquid (and modesty tent) can be provided but must be returned clean and emptied otherwise a £50 charge will be taken from the deposit.
3. We will provide basic cleaning equipment. (Dust pan and brush, surface cleaner and cloths, washing up liquid and sponge)
4. The van is provided with a full tank of diesel and must be returned with a full tank of diesel otherwise a charge of £50 will be taken from the deposit, plus the cost of the diesel required to top up the tank.
5. 'Pick Up’ times and ‘Drop Off’ times can be discussed to suit you - a full explanation and handover will be available.
6. Not necessarily a house rule but a major "top tip"... do not take loads of 'stuff'. Best trips are those when you are travelling light, you really do not need much at all.
We are happy for you to leave your car at our home address on our driveway.

We had a fantastic time away in Monty. Lorraine made it easy for us to collect and drop off which made our trip even better. Monty was exactly what we hoped for, easy to drive and set up. Top tips from Lorraine helped us set up and enjoy the break all the more. The event shelter worked a treat. Weather was lovely so only put one side up to act as a windbreak. Would 100% hire again and recommend. Thank you.

We hired Monty for a long weekend visiting the Norfolk coast so didn't have to drive that far, just to a campsite 50 miles away. Having had no previous experience of campervans I was initially apprehensive but have to say that this vehicle made both the journey and the 3 night stay all the more enjoyable and a great alternative to camping in a tent; especially in October!!
As per the other reviews we found it very easy to drive, not much different to a car or transit van and easily powerful enough to handle more ambitious travel destinations in my opinion. The high up driving position, big windscreen and massive side mirrors made for great visibility too - even driving down narrow country lanes was easy.
Lorraine was great, both in her communication prior to our trip - answering all my questions about Monty's various features and accessories and also giving us a full demonstration of the technicalities, e.g. popping up the roof and rotating the passenger seat, and explaining the 240V electric hook-up connection, etc. Massive thanks to Lorraine and her husband for hiring us this campervan.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend anyone to hire Monty, whether you are considering a short trip like ours or something more adventurous, you'll find it makes your trip much more fun!
