Caddy Camper – 2018 VW Caddy Microcamper

Lovingly converted VW Caddy Maxi.

Purchased and converted in 2022, my partner & I have travelled all over the UK in her from as far south as Lands End in Cornwall to the Northern tip of the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides.

The VW Caddy Maxi is the perfect microcamper, especially for enjoying the outdoors. She feels and drives like a car, making it very easy to navigate those small country roads, park in tight spots and find smaller wild camping spots that the bigger vans can't take advantage of!

Sleeping
2 adults in a pull out bed. The bed is just shy of a small double.

Seating
She can carry up to 2 passengers (driver included), 2 belted seats in the front with headrests. In the main living space, the large seating area can fit up to 3-4 people sociably.

Electrical
She's equipped with a 95ah leisure battery for off grid electricity, this is charged when driving or can also be charged from a campsite hookup. There are 4 touch-sensitive LED lights in the living space plus 2 USB charging points and a 12 volt socket.
Electric Hookup gives 240v power to two UK sockets when plugged in at a campsite. 10m hook-up cable included.

Cooking
Everything is provided for internal and al fresco dining for 2 adults. We have a double gas burner along with a full dining set of 2 bowls, 2 plates, 2 mugs and cutlery. We also provide 1 large frying pan, 2 saucepans, chopping board, knifes, utensils, tin opener, corkscrew/bottle opener and collapsible washing up bowl with carry handle.

Cool box
She is also equipped with a 18L coolbox, powered by the leisure battery.

Awning
She is fitted with a 2m x 2.5m ARB awning which is easy to set up and a an optional awning room can be fitted in just minutes to give you plenty of outdoor shelter.
