ANO – *NEW* 3 berth Citroën Relay campervan from 2023

Meet ANO – Your Off-Grid Home on Wheels 🏕️
Say hello to ANO, our beautifully hand-crafted Citroën Relay L3H2 off-grid campervan, based o the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border. With great transport links to the A50 and A38, she’s perfectly placed for adventure – whether it’s a dash to the Peak District, a road trip to Snowdonia, or a peaceful weekend in the Lakes.

Built by us, for us – a small family of three – ANO wasn’t made to be rented. She was designed as our personal escape pod: a place to slow down, disconnect from the noise, and reconnect with nature. But now, we’re opening her doors to fellow adventurers who want to do the same.

🛋️ Living, Seating & Sleeping
Inside, you’ll find a comfy U-shaped sofa that seats up to five (at a squeeze) and easily transforms into a cosy double bed in under a minute – just move a panel, adjust a few cushions, and you’re set. We provide a fresh bed sheet – just bring along your own pillows and duvet (we may be able to provide bedding at an extra charge).

Outdoors - we do also pack 2x levellers which help keep the van and level as possible. 3x camping chairs and 1x table. The van is currently having an awning fitted and has 2x mosquito nets. There is also a baby/ dog gate which is detachable. If you don't need this then we can leave it off.

🍳 Kitchen & Essentials
Everything you need for van life cooking is right here:

2-ring gas hob with a full gas bottle

Manual sink with clean, cold water

Mini fridge freezer – perfect for weekend food storage

Plates, bowls, cutlery, and cooking utensils included

We fill the clean water tank before your trip and kindly ask that you empty the waste tank before returning.

🚿 Toilets, Shower & Hot Water
ANO includes:

A portable camping toilet, tucked neatly out of sight – clean on pickup, please return the same

A diesel heater to keep you warm in colder months (1 tank of fuel is provided)

Outdoor hot water shower – perfect for wild camping (we recommend using local facilities when possible)

🔋 Power & Off-Grid Living
We’ve intentionally designed ANO to be a low-tech, digital detox zone. That means:

USB and USB-C ports for device charging

No mains plug sockets – though we can provide a large rechargeable power bank if needed (small fee)

Solar panels keep you going off-grid for around 3 days without recharging

🚗 The Drive
At just under 6m long, ANO is a great size – roomy enough inside, but manageable on the road. She was purchased as an ex-demo van and has only clocked 4,000 miles since we started sharing her.

The cab is equipped with:

Air conditioning

AirPlay (and Android equivalent)

Bluetooth and USB

Comfortable seating for long drives

Plenty of visibility for navigating country lanes and A-roads alike

Please note: ANO is not suitable for off-road terrain, so plan routes accordingly.

🔐 Safety & Extras
Safety is key, so the van comes with:

Smoke, carbon monoxide, and gas alarms

Fire extinguisher

On-site parking for one vehicle while you’re away on your trip
