The Hirer:
• Is liable for any cost incurred for speeding or parking fines, congestion charges or any other offences during the hire period.
• Not to drive under the influence of drink or drugs.
• Is responsible for the vehicle on hire to you.
• Is liable for any damage to the vehicle, contents or extras hired during the hire period.
• Shall not carry more passengers than the seating capacity of the vehicle
• Driver and passengers to wear the seat belts.
• Shall not use the vehicle for hire or reward.
• Shall not take the vehicle outside the UK Mainland without consent.
• Any breakdown or damage caused by you, will be at your own expense.
• Do not use the gas stove to heat the van and always have a door/window open when using the stove to cook.
• DO NOT leave electrical plug-in heaters or any other electrical items on when the vehicle is unattended or overnight when you are sleeping.
• Please note there may be knives included as part of the cooking equipment so please do not allow children to open the drawers or containers unsupervised.
General
Before commencement of hire, the hirer is required to check the vehicle thoroughly before leaving the premises and complete & sign waiver form
The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as when hired, with the interior and appliances/utensils clean.
Charges will be applied for the cleaning of dirty or stained carpets or upholstery.
Fuel
The hirer will be liable if incorrect fuel type is used.
The fuel level should be the same when returning the vehicle, charges will be made to cover fuel top up.
The hirer will be responsible for the regular checking of oil and water levels, and the use of the correct type of fluids.
- Vehicle Keys must never be left unattended in vehicle. The hirer will be responsible for the cost of replacement keys, charge of £300 plus recovery charges.
- No smoking in hire vehicle or awning.
Failure to provide mandatory ID documents prior to hire date may result in your hire being cancelled.
