Meet Brown Bear!

He is our 2013 VW T5.1. He’s a short wheel base camper, half wrapped in Matte green (not brown….. which is very confusing, given his name).

Brown bear has been a fantastic little adventure vehicle, and has travelled around lots of the UK.

He has 3 belted seats, but can actually sleep up to 4 adults. There’s a small bed in the back that pulls out into a decent double, plus space for 2 adults in the pop top. The base for the pop top can also be lifted up to allow standing room in the back of the van.

There is a built-in crate for a small-medium sized dog to be safe whilst travelling (we have a springer spaniel who fits comfortably, but I’d say a springer is the largest size that could travel in there).
There is also a little jetwash in the side of the van for cleaning down muddy paws and wellies.

Brown bear has a pull out bench for cooking on, and plenty of storage space under the bed at the back. There is also a sink with a small running water supply (10litres) controlled by an electric foot pump in the cupboard; perfect for teeth-brushing and small amounts of washing up over a couple of days :)

There’s an awning that can be used if you want to sit outside, and also a couple of camping chairs.

There is a split charge relay & leisure battery running touch-lights and 12v electrics in the back. There’s a couple of handy USB ports for charging phones etc.

Brown bear has got Apple car play, but this was not included in the listing summary as it has on occasion been a bit intermittent.

Brown bear will also come with a few helpful things like cutlery, chopping board, some utensils, a camping stove with basic pans.
There will also be a few dog supplies; a lead, some poop bags, a dog bowl and crate bed.
