Really great experience with ‘Betty’ and her owners. Great communication and information from Jo and the team in advance and they were quick to respond to queries. Pick up was easy and benefitted from being offered slightly earlier so we were able to get on the road sooner. Betty handled really well and was comfortable to drive and live in. With our ginormous German Shepherd we probably should have gone with something bigger as his turning circle was restricted to two areas inside only - we coped! Betty was well-equipped with a decent sized fridge which was great. Shower available but we stuck to those in the sites as we didn’t wild camp this time! The pop top bed was vital as doggo took up all the space downstairs! Still, we survived the week and a) are still married and b) still own the doggo so can’t be that bad! We got as far as Lindisfarne and all around Northumberland, which was gorgeous! Would highly recommend.

What an amazing trip to the Scottish highlands in an amazing van! It had everything we needed and more. Beautifully clean and well maintained. Wonderfully helpful, friendly and communicative owners, we will definitely be hiring from them again!

Alan, Jo and Betty were the perfect hosts; polite, helpful, friendly and understanding - an absolute pleasure to deal with.
The van itself is 5*. It has everything you could possibly need for a trip away as a family of four (plus dog!). The van is well made, functions perfectly and is very comfortable. The pop top was easy to use and survived the rain in the lakes. The flexible layout was fantastic and all utilities worked well. The heating was an absolute god-send for wet coats/boots. There is great storage and the kitchen drawers are really well and thoughtfully stocked - for example, there was a measuring jug…which we actually needed!
The little touches such as washing up liquid, loo roll, beverages and a bag of sweet treats made everything just feel extra special. We will definitely be hiring from them again. If you are considering this van - go for it. It’s flawless!
