Ernest – 3 berth Nissan Navara 2017

Hello, and welcome to the start of your unforgettable adventure. Hiring 'Ernest', our fully kitted out luxury 4x4, is super easy on this platform and we've highlighted some of the features of this experience so that you can make the most of your trip.

Ernest (Named after Sir Ernest Shackleton) is a 2017 Nissan Navara 2.3l Tekna Auto is kitted out with everything that 3 people would ever need. From pots and pans to a solar shower, we've thought of everything, and its all been picked to make your experience as amazing as possible.

The Ventura roof top tent is setup in about 5 minutes and packs away in even less time. Below the tent we have an optional zip-on annex which is ideal for a sitting area or getting out the sun. It is even possible to sleep in here so long as you bring a single inflatable mattress. On the other side of the annex and already attached to the truck is a 2.5m awning which is a great seating and cooking area. Again this only takes 2-3 minutes to unfold and setup.

Once setup up you will find all the equipment you will ever need (plus lots more room for your own bags and equipment) in the bed of the truck neatly packed into boxes. This includes - Cooking equipment, plates, utensils, cutlery, double gas stove, gas, 3 seats, 2 tables, Annex (as mentioned above), 45l cool box, picnic blanket to name a few.

As well as the camping and living equipment we have also added some kit that complements the vehicle and the locations it could take you. These include a shovel and traction boards for if you find yourself stuck in mud and a spare wheel, roadside safety kit and tool kit.

Please note: hire insurance is not included. You will need to purchase a short-term insurance via Insuredaily.co.uk. Average cost is £24 per day for the first 5 days and £20 per day for longer trip. Please get in touch for further guidance on this.
