Mo – Selfbuild Opel Movano “Mo” for outdoor adventures!

We are Iris and Matthijs. Four years ago, we converted this handyman van into a camper with our own hands, and Mo has become a seasoned travel companion. Last year, we traveled through the Balkans for four months — an adventure that Mo came through with flying colors. It is fully equipped and ready for new discoveries with new travelers!

We love the outdoors and being active, so we built a spacious “garage” under the bed. It easily fits two bikes or four surfboards. There is also space on the roof or ceiling for a longboard or other gear.

Mo is completely off-grid. You can easily stay in the shade for two to three days without driving. Ideal for remote workers, there is power to charge your laptop. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable, thick mattress, a two-burner gas stove, and a fridge that will keep your food cool for a few days. And don’t worry — there’s plenty of storage space for snacks!

We provide clean bed linen and towels. Inside there is a nice dining table, and for outside we have a dining table with luxury camping chairs. There is an awning for sunny days. Two fans provide cooling at night, and with the mosquito nets you can sleep with the doors open. There is also a compact compost toilet and an outdoor shower - and a hammock to relax in.
