The solar panel was also a godsend, as it meant we weren't dependent on electricity. Just remember not to park in the shade for several days without power, as that will drain the compartment battery. That was a valuable lesson for us. The van drives smoothly and handles well in traffic (it's 5.55m long, which is a plus). Next time, we'll definitely bring bikes (the van has a tow bar), as that allows us to be more mobile at our destination (so we don't have to take the van all the time).
