Cees the Camper is a self-converted 2020 Renault Master, ready for your off-grid adventure. With a massive solar panel on the roof, charging while driving, induction cooking, an outdoor shower with hot water, heating, and a compost toilet, you can go wherever you want. Inside, you've got plenty of space; the ceiling is 2.10 meters high (welcome tall travelers!), and the bed is very spacious. And if you want to settle in at your campsite, you can do so with an awning, outdoor rug, adjustable camping chairs, and a table. And because the camper meets the latest emissions standards, you'll hardly encounter any low-emission zones!
The wooden interior gives the camper a truly homely feel. It has a fixed single bed, which can be extended into a spacious double bed (1.90 m wide at the headboard!). There's a seating area for two with a folding table. The kitchen includes a two-burner induction cooktop and a sink with a pull-out hot water tap. This tap can be turned outward, allowing it to be used as a shower. A 50L fresh water tank is provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with a kettle, pans, plates, cutlery, dishware, etc. There's also a spacious 80L refrigerator with a freezer compartment and two trash cans.
There's more than enough closet and storage space. The living area features several shelves, bins, and drawers for all your belongings. All neatly hidden behind lockable doors to prevent them from flying open while driving. Above the kitchen and bed, tall cabinets with sliding doors provide extra storage on one side. The garage, accessible through the rear doors, offers even more storage. Here you'll find two luxury camping chairs, a camping table, and an outdoor rug. A guitar and a folding bike would easily fit in there.
The campervan is completely ready for use: clean linens, towels, and dishcloths are provided. All windows have built-in mosquito screens to keep insects at bay. There's a fan in the skylight. The curtains are blackout and can separate the driving area from the living area. The driving area has three seats with seatbelts. Would you like to sleep three in the van? That's possible upon request. The seating area can easily be converted into a narrow third bed (200x55cm). A bike rack for two bikes is mounted on the back of the campervan. Please note: these bikes may weigh a maximum of 35 kg combined.
Thanks to the solar panel, you always have power. The campervan has a large battery, allowing you to stay off-grid for two to three days even without any sun. The heater runs on the car's diesel and keeps you warm for days. There's no gas in the van. It's worth mentioning that extensive cooking naturally uses a lot of energy, so you'll need to be mindful of your energy consumption if you plan to stay off-grid for longer. The battery can also be charged while driving and with a power cable (for example, at a campsite). To give you a better idea, we traveled through Switzerland and Italy for four weeks and only used the power cable once. The mountains there weren't a problem either – this relatively new van can handle that perfectly.
I would love it if you would also enjoy this cozy home on wheels!
