Hey you there!
How nice that you are interested in our cozy Hut. We traveled with it for a few months last year through Europe and now like to share this top camper with others.
What do you really need to know about this gem?
- it's an oldie (1991) but with a completely refreshed interior.
- there are 4 belts and the camper has 5 sleeping places.
- the height is approximately 1.90 to 1.95 (useful to know for taller people).
- the beds (fixed rear bed and alcove bed) are 210 long, which is great for tall people.
- the rear bed has a relatively new mattress with a slatted base (so wonderfully comfortable).
- The 5th bed is a bit shorter, this is the train seat that can be converted.
- you get the camper with the following inventory: pans, cutlery, crockery (for 4 people), all kinds of kitchen utensils (such as spatula, whisk, knives, boards, pot holder, coaster, kitchen set etc.), outdoor table, outdoor chairs (2 adult chairs, 2 children's chairs, a chill chair, a mini chair), outdoor rug, drying rack, mini BBQ. Maybe I'm forgetting things, but feel free to ask us.
- We can provide the beds with fitted sheets if desired. Please bring your own duvets and pillows.
- the alcove bed has a slat that protects against falling out. A construction has also been made on the slat that closes the entire opening so that it is also safe for small children.
- all windows have blackout and mosquito nets. Given the age of the camper, operating the shutters requires a gentle hand.
- The kitchen has a gas stove (3 burners). There is also a sink with running water (if the water tank is full). On request, we can leave our Nespresso so that you can make a delicious cup of coffee in the morning.
- the refrigerator currently only works when the camper is connected to the power supply and has a small freezer compartment.
- the cupboards are mostly empty (except for some handy gadgets) and the camper therefore has a lot of storage space (see the top cupboards in the photo, the high hanging cupboard, various drawers, storage space in the bench and various compartments outside).
- the toilet can be used. However, the request to return the camper with an empty tank. There is no shower.
- the camper has air conditioning. This way you can cool the cabin down nicely at your destination before going to sleep.
- the windows are all working so far, but these systems also require a gentle approach.
- the bike carrier can carry 2 regular bikes. If necessary, a cover is available to cover the bikes.
- the awning works properly and may be used normally, except in strong winds and/or storms.
- despite its age, this camper is technically in good condition.
- currently our names are still on the front. We are doing our best to remove them but for now you will still be on the road with this camper as Andre, Ellen, Iepe and Siep :).
- Picking up and returning the camper is generally easy on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and regularly on Monday. The evenings are often possible anyway (also on Tuesday and Thursday). The time for picking up is 15:00 and returning at 11:00 but can be adjusted in consultation.
All in all, this camper is well suited for families and/or 2 to 3 adults. With 4 or 5 it can certainly be done alone, then you will notice more quickly that the space is small and a number of things are lacking (such as the number of belts and/or the number of adult garden chairs).
Need we say more? Please send us a message if you have any further questions. And otherwise all that remains is to say: go and have fun!
Kind regards,
André and Ellen
