Hey traveler!
Looking for a beautiful and comfortable campervan with character? Last year, I converted this beautiful Fiat Ducato. The wood, the seats, the great lighting, and the large kitchen make the van feel like a real home on wheels! We lived in the van for seven months, and I'm convinced it's fully equipped!
The bed is 190cm long and 120cm wide, enough space for even the tallest Dutch person to sleep comfortably. The memory foam mattress is possibly even more comfortable than your own bed!
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary dishes and pans, running water, and a three-burner gas stove for indoor and outdoor use. The kitchen also includes a refrigerator and ample storage for food and personal belongings.
The seating area consists of two benches with a tabletop between them that can be easily pulled out, perfect for romantic (or simply cozy) dinners on the bus when the weather is less pleasant. Under the benches, there's more storage space and you can find the electrical outlets.
I built the bus for use on surf trips and there's a handy system on the side of the bus for hanging surfboards or other gear, but it doesn't get in the way if you're not taking that kind of stuff with you.
The bus has an extra table top that can be mounted to the side of the kitchen unit in 1 minute, allowing you to cook outside and enjoy more of the surroundings.
In the bus you will also find everything you need for camping, there are 3 chairs, an outdoor rug, a table, lights and a folding bike.
Want to travel with more people or have friends coming over? In the back of the van, there's a 3-person Fresh&Black tent with an air mattress and sleeping bags for you to use!
Useful to know:
The bus is from 2009 and has always been well maintained, so the chance of a breakdown is minimal!
- The fresh water tank has a capacity of 21 liters, which will last you 3-5 days
The campervan has a solar panel with a 140Ah battery and a 220V inverter, enough for all your daily activities and to run the refrigerator day and night without needing a power outlet. However, there's a camping plug that's easy to connect, just in case the campervan doesn't get much sun during your holiday.
- The bus has a tow bar if you want to take a trailer or bicycle rack with you.
- The bus comes with bed linen and towels
- You get the bus with a full tank
I've had endless fun with my Bodhi; it's a sturdy van that allows you to live surrounded by nature, away from the hustle and bustle. I hope others will enjoy it as much as I did!
