Budgee 🌱⚡️ – 100% electric campervan with solar cooking ☀️

For those who want to experience how wonderful it can be to travel completely electrically, we have this e-camper, where you can also cook on solar energy. With this bus you can travel approximately 150 to 200 km on one charge. In practice, you can charge in about 20 minutes, at one of the hundreds of thousands of available charging stations. Feel free to look for mountain roads, where electric driving really comes into its own!

The roof is full of solar panels, making it possible to cook on induction, which is a much more pleasant, safer and smoother experience than cooking on gas. In addition, the glass hob ensures a tidy bus. On days with a lot of sun, you can even use the excess energy to charge the bus. You then actually drive on your own generated energy! The bus has a 72+13L water tank, so you can stay away from civilization for up to a week. We opted not to use a separate boiler, because with the induction plate you have boiling water within 30 to 60 seconds, which leads to much more efficient energy use. Depending on the amount required, you can have hot water (50 degrees) in ~10 seconds.

Budgee is a self-build, so some things do have a small manual (think of swivel chairs that you have to raise before turning them). On the other hand, it is designed to be maximum practical, with plenty of storage space.

Normally we live here for a large part of the year, but in the summer we don't need the bus. So we are looking for an enthusiast who would like to spend up to 4 weeks in this. We have now driven more than 70,000 km through Europe with this bus, from Scotland to southern Spain to the Czech Republic and Greece.
