Voor ons drieën was de oude VW LT een heerlijke bus om mee naar Copenhagen te rijden. Eigenlijk te ver voor een week, maar we hadden er zo'n zin in dat we het gewoon gedaan hebben. De snelweg hebben we zoveel mogelijk gemeden. Op de glooiende heuvels van Denemarken was ze erg op haar plek. Maar ook in de haven van Hamburg staat deze oude dame haar mannetje. De aankleding was niet helemaal onze smaak, maar dat neemt niet weg dat Dolly een verademing is in de eindeloze rijen witgoed. Tip als je toch de snelweg op moet, haak aan als het je lukt aan een vrachtwagen die niet harder dan 80 rijdt. Dat scheelt liters benzine! Herm en Wendy zijn super aardig zorgen goed voor de huurders ook onderweg. Wij houden van een oude bus rijden zonder stuurbekrachtiging en het gevoel dat je een vrachtwagen bestuurt.
