Carpe Diem. Seize the day.
I often hear people say: "we will do that when we retire". Especially when you are talking about a camper. From our own experience we know that you should not postpone this. We have been camping for almost 20 years because of this. With young children and now usually just the two of us
For these reasons we rent out our camper so that more people can experience this.
What does your experience look like?
Before the rental is finalized, we will make an appointment and check whether the camper meets your wishes.
When you can (finally) enjoy yourself, you come and pick up the camper. You will receive a detailed explanation and the camper will be ready to go. You can park your car with us for free.
You can place your belongings in the many cupboards in the camper and in the very spacious garage you can place 2 (electric) bicycles on an extendable bicycle carrier. Certainly so safe!
The bicycle carrier on the back of the camper can also accommodate 3 bicycles.
You get into the camper and, somewhat awkwardly, you leave. Quite exciting, such a large camper. But you soon get used to it and notice how wonderful it is to drive a semi-integrated camper. Thanks to the powerful diesel engine, no mountain is too high. The auxiliary air suspension ensures stable road holding.
The cruise control and air conditioning are also wonderful.
Along the way you stopped at a parking lot. Oh how busy it is at the toilet of the roadside restaurant. Then you can use the separate toilet, which is located opposite the shower room.
You can grab a drink from the very large refrigerator and an ice cream from the freezer is also nice.
When you arrive at the location for the day, you put the camper in place. You can do this well with the reversing camera and sensors. But this is also the moment when your fellow passenger takes action. This also provides the necessary instructions behind the camper. After all, you can't see everything.
You turn the Bearlock (mechanical theft) on it. Certainly so safe! You connect the camper to the power. It's nice to have 220 V sometimes.
You do not have to convert your beds because in the back you have 2 single (longitudinal) beds with slatted bases and adjustable headrests and an electric fold-down bed above the seating area.
You turn out the large awning and place the garden chairs and table under the awning. You grab a drink and a snack.
In the evening you put something in the oven or bake something on the three-burner stove or outside on the skottelbraai
No 220 V for a day? No problem, because with the solar panels and the 600 Watt inverter you can also make great progress.
