This electric campervan lets you travel in peace. This VW e-Crafter has an unobtrusive appearance and a spacious interior. There's a fixed toilet located in the very back, next to a fixed bed running lengthwise. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, sink, and a large induction cooktop with a single burner. It's even possible to cook with two pans. The heating is also electric, eliminating the need for a gas bottle. All appliances are powered by a large household battery and an inverter, allowing you to camp for several days without a power connection. If you need to charge the batteries, a 6-amp power connection is sufficient, even if you want to use the cooktop at that time.
The interior offers ample storage space, including pots, plates, cutlery, a kettle, and a thermos. We also provide an awning, charging cable, charging cord with a CEE plug, extension cord, table, and chairs.
The campervan has environmental stickers for Germany and France. With these two stickers, you can enter all low-emission zones in almost all of Europe. This large electric campervan has a battery with 35.8 kWh of usable capacity. The range (NEDC) is 173 kilometers and the top speed is 90 km/h. In the summer, 120 kilometers is easily achievable, especially on country roads and in the city. Charging from 20% to 80% takes about 30 minutes at a fast charger. We personally drive about 350 km per day on the first and last days of our vacation, and about 150 km on the days in between. Long-distance travel is therefore possible; we've already completed a 20-day trip around the Baltic Sea via Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, and Denmark. We averaged about 300 km per day then.
You will receive all charging cables, including one for camping use, which is adjustable in power and equipped with a kWh meter.
When you pick up your camper, we'll explain how everything works, including charging at the charging station, fast charger, and at the campsite. You'll receive the camper with a full battery and water tank.
You need a charging card or app to charge while on the road at a fast charger or charging station. These are free to apply for, but sometimes you can get a better deal with an app and a subscription. (For example: The Ionity subscription costs €7.99 the first month, after which you can charge at a lower rate, usually less than €0.40 per kWh. The subscription can be canceled monthly.)
We can advise you on choosing charging cards, but you can also borrow some from us. We do charge an administrative fee for this, as we need to track the billing address for each charging session.
Because we need some time to get the camper ready for the next renter, the pickup time is 3:00 PM and the return time is 11:00 AM. If there is no renter before you, the camper can be picked up as early as 1:00 PM upon arrangement. If there is no renter after you, the camper does not need to be returned until 1:00 PM.
If you'd like to view the campervan before booking, please send us a message. We'd be happy to show you the inside and out and answer any questions you may have. We can also arrange a test drive if you'd like.
