A few years ago, we rented a Land Rover Defender in Scotland for the first time. Since then, we have been hooked on these cars and would love to share our enthusiasm with others.
The car with a pop-top roof is equipped for two people, and it is wonderful to stay at Dutch campsites and, of course, to head out to other countries. The car can reach places that are inaccessible with other cars or campers. Thanks to the equipment, it is possible to be away from civilization for extended periods. Driving on unpaved roads is naturally permitted; however, off-road driving, driving in deep sand, and tackling steep slopes are not intended. Off-road driving is a specialized skill, and if you are not yet accustomed to it, it can lead to difficult and unsafe situations. With the internal diesel heater, winter camping is also perfectly feasible. An outdoor tripod heater is nice when it is cold; you can also cook on it. If you want to travel to areas where temperatures drop to -20°C, consultation is required, as the car may need some additional modifications.
The Keswick Green Defender features a powerful 2.4 Td4 diesel engine with an 80-liter diesel tank. The car drives comfortably, even on the motorway, and the later-installed cruise control provides extra comfort on long distances. It takes you wherever you want to go to experience true freedom. The Defender is in excellent technical condition and is maintained by a recognized Land Rover Defender specialist.
The Defender is equipped for camping with 2 people and comes with the necessary camping gear. The bed is ready for use in 3 minutes.
In early 2026, the car will be further improved. The roof tent has been renewed, and a new bamboo bed board has been installed with a new mattress and bedside lamps. Additionally, a new gas hob with a small sink, also neatly integrated into a bamboo board.
Bringing a two-person Canadian canoe is an option.
