A few months ago, we bought this Volkswagen Transporter in Germany. It is a former postal van, recognizable by its striking color and understated, characterful appearance. Since then, the van has been converted into a practical and comfortable camper van.

The interior is designed with simplicity and ease of use in mind. A custom-made mattress was provided (120 × 190 cm, widening to 160 cm over the first meter), complemented by cabinets for storage space and clothes hangers. Everything is functionally arranged without unnecessary elements.

Despite its age, the bus is in good condition and has always been well maintained. We recently took a month-long road trip through Italy in it, which went smoothly and comfortably.
A practical advantage is that the bus is also accessible from the rear, under the canopy. This makes use during camping simple and straightforward.

In summary: a well-maintained Volkswagen Transporter with a simple but well-thought-out conversion, suitable for those looking for a reliable camper van with character.
