Our Ford Nugget (year of construction 2021) is composed by the German 'Westfalia', known for the mythical VW vans. The setting is unique: because the kitchen part and the cupboards are built into the trunk, the bus gives a real car feeling while driving with plenty of space and space in the back seat. This makes the kitchen part easy to use when both beds are installed.
Our camper van drives smoothly on the motorway and in the mountains (185 hp), is compact, manoeuvrable and easy to park in a regular parking space. The height is limited (2.09 m), which means that parking is also possible in some parking garages.
The camper van has 5 full seats. The 2 beds can sleep 4 adults. In addition, the camper van has various options for the perfect camping holiday.
The main features are:
- A compact, but well-equipped kitchen with 2-burner gas stove (Dometica), an electric refrigerator (Westfalia) and a sink with a 40-litre water tank
- Cutlery and plates for 5 people, cooking utensils, Bialetti (percolator for coffee),... are always present.
- An outdoor shower can be installed under the tailgate (cold water).
- A small camping toilet (Porta Potti) is also included if desired.
- A comfortable double bed of 138 x 200 cm can be found in the lifting roof. The rear seat can be converted into a double bed of 120 x 200 cm.
- The lifting roof has 3 windows that are fitted with mosquito netting. They offer a beautiful view upon awakening!
- The windows are shuttered and fitted with curtains.
- Equipped with sufficient lighting, 3 reading lights (LED) and conveniently placed USB charging points, 12V and 230V connections.
- There is more than enough storage space under the sofa and in the various cupboards.
- 5 camping chairs + camping table are provided
- Trailer hitch (approved up to 750 kg) is present. A bicycle carrier for 2 bicycles is also available as an option.
- Extendable awning from Thule (against sun and rain)
In addition, the camper van is also equipped with:
- Navigation from Google Maps or Waze via Apple Carplay or Android Auto. It also allows you to play your own Spotify music.
- Adaptive cruise control
- Air conditioning
- Reversing camera (very useful when parking)
- Blind spot mirrors
- Maximum permitted loading weight is more than 585 kg.
You can also pick up the camper van at Wetteren train station.
The campervan is delivered clean and fully fueled and we would like to receive it back as soon as possible. Cleaning costs are 50€ if necessary.
