HOUSE RULES:

The renter must use the vehicle and all its accessories with the utmost care. This means that the vehicle is operated correctly and according to the instructions in the manual and the instructions provided by YOUR MOMENTS before departure. This not only contributes to a safe and comfortable journey, but also prevents unnecessary damage and costs.

It is strictly forbidden to make changes to the vehicle, inventory or any other equipment provided by the lessor. This includes structural changes, but also the removal or replacement of parts.

The renter may not lend, transfer or allow third parties to use the vehicle, nor rent it to others. The vehicle remains exclusively in the possession and under the responsibility of the renter during the entire rental period.

The maximum number of passengers as specified by the rental company must be strictly adhered to. The Dethleffs Globetrail 640 from YOUR MOMENTS has a maximum capacity of two persons. Exceeding this number may not only entail safety risks, but may also result in liability in the event of damage or accidents.

During the rental period, the renter is responsible for carrying out essential maintenance checks. This includes checking the oil level, coolant and tire pressure regularly (at least every 1,000 kilometers). Failure to do so may result in damage to the vehicle, for which the renter will be held liable.

The renter shall bear all costs related to the condition, location and safety of the vehicle during the rental period. This means that all additional expenses such as repairs due to negligent use or the recovery of the vehicle in the event of a breakdown or accident shall be borne entirely by the renter.

The vehicle may not be driven under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other narcotics under any circumstances. The driver must always comply with the applicable traffic regulations of the country in which he or she is located. Violations may result in fines or legal consequences, for which the renter is fully responsible.

Drivers must have at least five years of driving experience and have not had any aggravating accidents in the last five years. This ensures responsible and safe handling of the vehicle.

When picking up the vehicle, the fuel tank and AD Blue tank are completely full. The renter must ensure that both tanks are also completely full when returning. If this is not done, additional costs may be charged for refilling.

The renter is obliged to empty the toilet cassette and the waste water tank completely before returning the vehicle. If this is not done, a surcharge of €20 per tank will be charged.

The complete cleaning of the interior of the motorhome is the responsibility of the renter. This includes the cockpit, bathroom, sleeping area, garage, cupboards, cooking area, floor, mats and all other interior elements. If the vehicle is not returned clean, a cleaning fee of €75 will be charged.

The use of a deep fryer or barbecue inside the mobile home is strictly prohibited. This is to prevent smoke damage, odor nuisance and possible fire risks.

When cooking, at least two (roof) windows should be opened to prevent food odors from lingering in the interior for a long time. This helps keep the vehicle fresh and pleasant for both the renter and future users.

All dishes and kitchen utensils must be cleaned carefully with a soft cloth and dried with a clean towel after use. The use of scouring pads or aggressive cleaning agents is not permitted, to prevent damage to the materials.

An inventory of all loose accessories such as cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils and the camping set is provided by the landlord. If items are broken or disappear, these will be charged to the tenant at the applicable rates.

Damages, no matter how small, should be reported to the owner immediately. This will ensure that any problems can be resolved in a timely manner and prevent additional costs for further damage.

All traffic fines, unpaid tolls and similar costs incurred during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the renter. The lessor is not responsible for fines or administrative handling related to violations.

The guarantee amounts to €2,500, which corresponds to the deductible of the insurance. This amount only applies to drivers who are not domiciled in Belgium.
