We booked JJ & Leila's van for our two week trip in the Highlands. The van was great! It made our trip even better knowing we were in a reliable vehicle that was cosy but comfortable enough for two adults and all the gear needed for two weeks in all weathers. It was also perfect for people who don't want to feel like they are driving a big cumbersome van around, perfect for the small roads of rural Scotland. We had no issues getting up steep hills or driving down dirt track roads. It was a pleasure dealing with JJ & Leila, they were friendly, quick with their responses and provided us with all the info we needed before our trip. Thanks for trusting us with your van, we are very grateful.

We rented this van for a three-day trip and were extremely satisfied with the entire experience. We camped completely off-grid and everything we needed was provided. What stood out to us most was the battery autonomy: after three days, without driving a single kilometer, we still had 70% battery capacity remaining. The van is comfortably furnished and equipped with all necessary facilities. We traveled with two people and slept in the pop-up roof, but there is enough room to go on an adventure with four people. A major plus is that you can cook both indoors and outdoors. Cooking indoors is ideal in less favorable weather, while on sunny days you can easily cook and eat outside. We also used the outdoor shower regularly, which gave us an extra sense of freedom during our trip. In short: an excellently equipped and thoughtfully designed van, perfect for a carefree off-grid holiday. We would rent it again without a doubt and can highly recommend it!

We had an excellent experience with John and his camper. Communication was very easy since the beginning, and John was kind enough to provide us plenty of recommendations and tips. He was very thorough during the handover, which we really appreciated as this was our first experience with a campervan! John was also very accommodating, as he met us at the airport to facilitate the handover and allowed us to return the car a little bit later than set on the website. The campervan itself was also a dream: it was the perfect size to drive through the narrow lanes in the Highlands, but spacious enough to allow us to be comfortable on our stay. The toilet on board was really the cherry on top, as it allowed us to do a lot of wild camping without having to worry about toilet breaks. We would not hesitate to book again and will be recommending John's campervan to any friend that will want to visit Scotland!

All good, owner is very accommodating and the van has almost everything you could possibly need and more (a few more camping chairs would be good). The vans drives very well for its age, just remember it's an older van and priced accordingly. Plus, btw I didn't think it smelt of dogs (but it is a dog friendly van, what do you expect?)

An absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish, and I can't recommend Gertjan and his camper highly enough. Communication was a real highlight. Gertjan was happy to chat the whole way through, which made everything so easy, and he was wonderfully flexible and relaxed about pickup and drop-off rather than being strict on timing. He even collected me from Ljubljana airport and drove me back at the end of the trip. He's also a car mechanic, and honestly that gave me huge peace of mind. It's one thing to rent a van that looks good, but knowing it was in genuinely excellent mechanical shape meant I never had a single worry on the road. And the van itself completely surprised me. It's a nineties VW California, so you might expect a bit less comfort, but the opposite is true. It's a fantastic drive, smooth and confidence inspiring even over the Vršič pass, and it's clearly been looked after beautifully. It has everything you could need: a two burner gas hob, a fridge that worked perfectly, comfortable bedding, and a layout that's genuinely easy to switch from driving mode to sleeping mode and back. It made ten days of solo travel through Bled, Bohinj, Bovec and Kobarid feel effortless. One lovely thing to know is that Gertjan is a real people person who clearly cares about his guests. He'll happily talk you through everything and share his enthusiasm, and you can tell the van and the whole experience really matter to him. Thank you Gertjan for an unforgettable trip. I'd rent from you again in a heartbeat.

Nice compact camper and friendly, helpful owners. The lift-up bed means that despite its compact size, you can still sleep 3 or 4 people. I am 1.94m tall and slept well; it fits comfortably. The camper drives smoothly, and thanks to the reversing camera, included navigation, and Spotify Bluetooth, you have everything you need on the road.
